"Separation, Distinction and Portion" - Christine Beadsworth

The tip of spear is part of the whole spearhead, so although it passes through

an area as a forerunner, the rest of the spear passing through that same area

impacts the tip. If there is turbulence as the main part of spear head passes

thru, the tip will feel it. In the same way, although some of us have celebrated

the beginning of the Fall Feasts, the rest of the spearhead following the

orthodox calendar will be marking them towards the end of September, and

we are still connected to them as part of the faithful remnant. I believe the

Spirit of the Lord needed a forerunner company who were willing to step out

in faith according to what they believed and move ahead of the rest of the

remnant, even if it meant they were out of sync with the majority of the

spearhead throughout the last 6 months of 5782.

God needs courageous forerunners who will be willing to be unpopular, while

being obedient to what the Spirit is showing them personally. The two spies

who went into the Promised Land ahead of the rest waiting on the other side

of the Jordan were exposed to more revelation and information that the rest

of the people of God did not see or hear – and they were doing it on behalf of

the whole company. In the same way, the tip of the spear pierces through veils

and boundaries, cutting a path and opening the way for the rest of the

spearhead to follow in.

Do you remember the Lord speaking to me some time during 5781 about the

door to the Bridal Chamber closing. At the time, I knew the Lord was

connecting this event to the parable of the wise and foolish virgins; the wise

and foolish ‘Bethulah’ in Matthew 25. However, because of the Lord taking a

group as the ‘tip of the spear’ and marking the Feast of Trumpets a month

earlier than the orthodox Jewish Calendar, I have had questions as to how this

closing of the door applied and when it would take place.

Firstly, I want to suggest to you that this is what this early Feast of Trumpets

celebration has been about. The tip of the spear is sharp and penetrates the

target before the rest of the spear head – and even then, not the whole

spearhead penetrates the target but only a portion is hidden. Up to half of the

whole spear head remains clearly visible and exposed and shakes along with

the shaft of the spear. Early celebration of the Feast of Trumpets means early

preparation of the heart; getting our inner hearts rightly aligned to His

plumbline of holiness and receiving of endtime mandates ahead of the

company following on behind. It provides distinction and orientation;

movement out of a larger company into a smaller company with a specific

calling. There is a smaller company who needed to go ahead of the bulk of the

remnant, in order to be assigned to their specific roles and endtime mandates

BEFORE the larger company came to their Fall Feast appointment.

Now, we need to refresh our memories concerning the types and shadows in

the ancient Jewish wedding ceremony. Once betrothal had taken place the

bride would wear a veil (indicating separation unto the prospective

bridegroom in holiness) and would focus upon getting herself fully ready for

the big day. The bridegroom would leave the betrothal ceremony and go

immediately to prepare and build a place attached to his father’s home. This

room would be the bridal chamber and only once the father decided it was

ready and done to his satisfaction, would he release his son to go and get his

bride.

So, the almost ‘completely ready’ betrothed woman would put a lamp in the

window to signify she was watching for her beloved’s coming. She did not

know the exact day or hour in which he would arrive. Then, at midnight on the

appointed day (remember the Jewish day starts at 6pm), the friend of the

bridegroom would blow a shofar very loudly to awaken the betrothed woman,

alerting her that the bridegroom was on his way and she should go out to meet

him. She would awaken, do the last-minute things (like fill her lamp and trim

the wick) and leave her father’s house with her bridesmaids to spend the last

little bit of her waiting time making her way towards her groom in the

darkness. Some time in the 3rd or 4th watch of the night, he would arrive and

whisk her and her bridesmaids away to the place he had prepared and shut the

door to this chamber. The bridal company (bride, groom, friends of the

bridegroom and bridesmaids) would enjoy a private night-time banquet and

then towards the end of the morning watch, she and her bridesmaids would go

to do the final mikvah (cleansing bath) and get ready for the public wedding on

the morning of the same day.

Now we need to look at the bridal typology in the Fall Feasts – of which there

are 3. The Feast of Trumpets on 1st Tishrei (also called Rosh Hashanah) equates

to the awakening and warning blast of the shofar blown by the friend of the

Bridegroom at midnight (Matt 25:6). The message of the friend of the

Bridegroom is that the Bridegroom has already left His Father’s house and is en

route to whisk away His Bride (an event described by the Jewish culture as

‘coming like a thief in the night’). His instruction is, “Go out to meet Him”.

Immediately, this day brings a revelation and a separation. Some are

sufficiently prepared with extra oil. Some are not. I want to point out that the

wise virgins were prepared AHEAD of time. They had extra oil in their lamps –

this is to do with choices made in the past season. At the moment the

Bridegroom came and took them to the Bridal chamber, they were fully

equipped and prepared. So, immediately after the shofar call was heard, those

who are wise are identified and they excitedly fill and light their lamps and go

forth into the night to meet their Bridegroom. The foolish are also clearly

visible as they go into frantic last-minute buying from the oil sellers.

Then, after the Feast of Trumpets, there 10 Days of Awe; the tenth day being

Yom Kippur which is the holiest day on the Jewish Calendar. These Days of Awe

are for final aligning of the heart, repentance and putting in order and

journeying for the face-to-face moment with the Beloved. This is why Yom

Kippur is known as ‘Face to Face’. It is also the day the High Priest went into

the Holy of Holies to pour the blood on the Mercy Seat. Yom Kippur is also a

type of the moment when the Bridegroom comes to whisk His beloved away;

leading His fully prepared Bride to the place He has prepared especially for her.

This is the time when the door to the Bridal Chamber is closed, once the fully

prepared Bridal party is inside... Five days later, on 15th Tishrei, is the Feast of

Booths (Tabernacles) which is a type of the wedding feast held during daylight

hours.

So, we can see that the closing of the door of the bridal chamber occurs some

moment after midnight; after the blowing of the awakening shofar. Now I want

to remind you how the Spirit showed me that these recent years in the Hebrew

calendar have been like watches of the night. He began by telling me about

5780:

5780 evening watch 3pm – 6pm

5781 1

st watch of the night 6pm – 9pm

5782 2

nd watch of the night 9pm -12am

5783 3

rd watch of the night 12am – 3am

So, we can see that the end of 5782 is the ‘midnight’ moment; the hour the

shofar gets sounded loudly to alert the Bride that the Bridegroom is on His

way. No wonder the first of the Fall Feasts is called ‘the Feast of Trumpets’ or

colloquially, ‘the day of the awakening blast’. It is at this moment that the

waiting virgins are alerted that the moment they have longed for and prepared

for is at the door. Now it is important to note they are all virgins; they are all

expecting the Bridegroom, but some are not sufficiently prepared – and

amongst them is one who is the Bride and the rest are bridesmaids. Five of the

nine bridesmaids disqualify themselves because of a lack of sufficient

preparation and when they knock on the closed door of the Bridal Chamber,

they are told that the bridegroom has never had any real relationship with

them – he never knew them! That is shocking. This is the part of the spear

head that remains vulnerable and visible and shaking once the tip of the spear

and the part closest to it have sunk into the target. The Bridal Chamber is our

target.

Now let’s see how the early Barley celebration of the beginning of 5783 fits

in... Before the Bridal Company go out to meet the Bridegroom, there is

someone else who needs to be prepared and released to function. It is the

friend of the bridegroom; the one appointed to blow the shofar. I believe that

the Tip of the Spear Company who prepared ahead of time represent the

Friend of the Bridegroom Company; the manchild who have had their own

trumpet call and face to face moment BEFORE the Bridal Company. WHY?

Because they are the ones who release from their innermost being the breath

that carries the sound of the awakening blast. Their anointing is that of the

Spirit of Elijah and they ARE the shofar that is filled with the breath of God and

blown at the midnight hour. Their message and endtime ministry is that of

awakening and alerting the Bridal Company to the very soon coming of the

Bridegroom. Their frequency or voice calls the preparation season to

completion and galvanises the Bridal Company into action. The voice of the

Friend of the Bridegroom Company; comprising some or all of the Manchild

Company, triggers the revelation of the true state of the waiting virgins.

Suddenly it is clear who is wise and who has been foolish in the last season. It

is a ministry of separation and distinction; the sound of a call to GO OUT to

meet the Bridegroom face to face.

In their role as the Friend of the Bridegroom, the Manchild Company release

their understanding of the times. They carry this sound birthed out of intimate

communion and face to face fellowship with the Bridegroom. He tells His

secrets to His friends! THIS is why the Tip of the Spear needed to go ahead of

the rest of the Bridal Company. Just as depicted in Revelation 12, they come

forth or are birthed from the midst of the Bridal Company, becoming separate

and distinct in their calling and function (the birthing and separation began as

the early barley ripeness was noted and early Passover celebrated and was

complete as the early barley Feast of Trumpets was celebrated. These
